• Where found: Djadokhta Formation, Gobi Desert, Mongolia
• Size: About 1.5–2 m long including the tail, roughly 0.5 m tall at the hip
• Habitat: Arid sand-dune desert with seasonal streams and oases
• Plants: Sparse and poorly known
• Neighbors: Protoceratops, Oviraptor-family dinosaurs, Pinacosaurus
• Debated: Exact feather pattern and color are unknown; feathers themselves are supported by quill knobs on the forearm bone
