Edmontosaurus Hell Creek Herd T-Shirt — Plate 072

The Edmontosaurus grazing in a herd by a river, reconstructed from the fossil evidence rather than from the movies.

Plate 072 of the Deep Time Atlas: museum-style paleo-art of Edmontosaurus annectens, reconstructed from fossil evidence and current research.

Field notes

• Period and age: Late Cretaceous, 68–66 Ma
• Where fossils are found: Hell Creek Formation (USA)
• Group: Duck-billed Dinosaurs
• Setting in the art: Conifers, broadleaf flowering trees, ferns and palms, with no open grasslands, which came much later
• What the fossils tell us: 'Mummy' fossils preserve skin; a fleshy head comb is known in its relative E. regalis

The shirt

• Bella+Canvas 3001 unisex tee, 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (heather colors are a cotton-poly blend)
• Fabric weight: 4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²), soft and lightweight
• Pre-shrunk, side-seamed, shoulder-to-shoulder taping
• Printed on demand (DTG) for you; blank sourced from Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras or the US

Note: the fabric is slightly sheer and may show through a little in lighter colors.

Care: wash cold inside out, tumble dry low or hang dry, do not iron the print.
