- Where fossils are found: Niobrara Formation, Kansas (USA)
- Group: Pterosaurs
- Setting in the art: A coastline lined with conifers, broadleaf flowering trees, ferns and palms, with no open grasslands, which came much later
- What the fossils tell us: Toothless; crest size differs between sexes
