Smilodon Oak Woodland Kids T-Shirt — Plate 008

A saber-toothed cat resting at the edge of an oak woodland at dusk.

Plate 008 of the Deep Time Atlas, made for young paleontologists: the same museum-style, scientifically accurate artwork as our adult tee, sized for kids.

Fossil facts for kids

• When it lived: Ice Age, about 1.6 million to 10,000 years ago
• Where fossils are found: North and South America, especially the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles
• Cool fact: Smilodon was not a tiger: it was a stocky cat, heavier than a lion, with long saber-shaped canine teeth.
• Lived alongside: Dire wolves, Columbian mammoths, giant ground sloths

The shirt

• Bella+Canvas 3001Y youth tee, 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (heather colors are a cotton-poly blend)
• Fabric weight: 4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²), soft and lightweight
• Relaxed unisex fit for boys and girls; youth sizes S–XL (see the size guide)
• Pre-shrunk, side-seamed, tear-away label
• Printed on demand (DTG) just for you, so every order is made fresh

Same artwork as the adult tee, so the whole family can match.

Care: wash cold inside out, tumble dry low or hang dry, do not iron the print.
